Our Services and Packages

  • What if I need help between scheduled meetings?

    • One of the unique advantages to Empowerly is our team of resources. You can access the portal 24/7 for exclusive online courses, webinars, research requests, and the executive team. Additionally, you can email your counselor with your concerns, and we'll respond within 24 hours.

  • I’m a parent, how can I keep track of my child’s progress?

    • Our plans also include meetings between parents and the counselor. We recommend once a month, but you can customize your package to increase or decrease frequency as needed. You also have 24/7 access to a parent portal where you can track your child's progress.

  • Where do meetings take place?

    • All of our meetings take place online via video chat. This allows for better scheduling flexibility and better matches between advisors and applicants since they will not be constrained by physical location.

Signing Up and Payments

  • How do I get started?

    • The first step is to schedule a free consultation with our enrollment team. These are 30 minute meetings conducted in person or online designed to introduce you to the Empowerly program and provide an overview of how Empowerly can help you. If you've already had your consultation, we are excited for you to join the Empowerly community! You will receive a more detailed email from our enrollment team, but the basic steps to signing up are:

      1. Complete the advisor matching form

      2. Complete your online registration

      3. Get matched with your advisor

      4. Confirm your package and start date with the enrollment team for final payment

      After you register, we will send over your counselor’s calendar link for you to schedule your first meeting. We will also share all counseling materials to prepare for the first meeting.

  • When is the best time to sign up?

    • We recommend that students sign up as soon as possible, even freshman, so our counselors can guide their student through all four years. This allows us to start fostering study skills and develop a compelling narrative right from the start

  • Can I meet my counselor before I sign up?

    • Given the importance of a strong relationship between a student and their counselor, we understand the desire many students have to meet with their counselor before joining the program. We are often able to arrange introductory meetings, so be sure to ask during your free consultation.

  • Do you offer payment plans?

    • We offer a number of different payment options and plans for your convenience. We can discuss the options that are best for you during your free consultation.

  • What discounts are available?

    • We offer a number of discounts including multi-year and sibling discounts, as well as a number of seasonal promotions. In addition, we offer a rewards program to our customers who refer their friends. Be sure to ask the enrollment team what discounts you qualify for during your free consultation.

Our Advisors

  • When are counselors available?

    • Availability varies, but we have counselors in a number of different time zones and most are available for evening and weekend meetings. If you have strict schedule requirements, please let our enrollment team know and we will find someone who can accommodate your needs.

  • Do applicants work with one person or multiple?

    • While students are matched with only one counselor, Empowerly provides a number of resources to ensure our students’ specific needs are addressed. For example, students have access to our research team, editing team, and additional advisors that have specialized experience in things like science fairs, career advising, and internship/job applications. Our advisors and team frequently coordinate to ensure we find the right plan for your needs.

  • Can I switch counselors after starting?

    • We take pride in matching you with the right counselor for your needs, so switches are rarely necessary. However, we are happy to accommodate any request for a counselor change. Please email with your concerns as well as your preferences for a new counselor. A case manager will help your transition to a new counselor.
